The Buffalo Bills quarterback has only been in the league for a few years, but Allen has already broken several franchise records, gaining thousands of fans along with several thousand friendly rivals (including Tom Brady, who engaged in a light-hearted war of words with Allen) in May 2022.
Through it all, the quarterback has had one person by his side: his longtime girlfriend, Brittany Williams. Allen and Williams have known each other since childhood and have been dating since 2017. She has known Allen since childhood
Williams and Allen knew each other growing up, and as he revealed in an Instagram caption, Williams even had a crush on the future quarterback when they were kids. Early in their relationship, she posted a photo of her and Allen with the caption, “My 8 year old crush became my boyfriend years later.”
During an appearance on Kelly Stafford’s The Morning After podcast, Williams later recalled how she and Allen first crossed paths as children in Fresno, California. Williams attended Allen’s brother’s birthday party, where a minor league baseball game was held on the sidelines of the festivities. After a player hit a ball near the team, Allen adorably retrieved it and brought it to Williams.
“And I remember being so embarrassed, like, ‘Oh my gosh, cuties,'” Williams recalled. “And that was like our big first moment that we remember each other.”
Allen “ghosted” her after a high school dance
After their birthday party encounter, Williams didn’t see Allen again until they were 16 or 17, although their mothers kept in touch. After seeing a photo of Allen, Williams commented on how “pretty” she had become, causing Williams’ mother to reach out to Allen’s mother.
The pair then reunited at Allen’s family restaurant, and as Williams recalled on The Morning After, he decided to just “go for it” and kissed her in the parking lot. After that they kept in touch and Williams eventually invited the “shy” athlete to a dance at his school, delaying their romance.
“He was nervous and my friends were mad,” Williams said, admitting that his friends were “dishonest” with Allen. After the dance, Williams and Allen did not speak for an entire year.
“He haunted me for a year, but at the same time, I was like, ‘Okay, I get it, things aren’t on our time,’ I knew it wasn’t meant to be,” she explained, adding that despite their lack of communication, she Knew their relationship wasn’t completely over. The pair reconnected during their freshman year of college, when Allen texted Williams saying, “I messed up.”
She was a cheerleader at Fresno State
Williams went to college at Fresno State University, where she was a member of the cheer team and Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Allen got a second chance at a dance with Williams when he took her to her sorority formal in 2017.
“Thanks for coming to the kkg formal with me 😚,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the couple in all their outfits.
Williams graduated college in 2018, according to the caption of an Instagram post, “Go dog for life,” in which she posed with her graduation cap.
He is supportive of Allen’s career
Williams has been supportive of her boyfriend since the start of his football career. In September 2017, he shared a photo of himself kissing Allen at a college football game for the University of Wyoming Cowboys.
“I guess I’m a fan of #17 😉,” he captioned the post, which shows him wearing a yellow Wyoming Cowboys jersey with “Allen” and “17” in bright silver on the back.
Williams traded his Cowboys jersey for a Buffalo Bills after Allen joined the NFL. He shared a snap of the two holding Bills jerseys at the 2018 NFL Draft.

Football is a Williams family tradition
Williams’ father, Chris Williams, also played football. He was a linebacker on Fresno State’s football team in the early 90s, where his team was a Freedom Bowl champion and two-time conference champion, according to his LinkedIn bio.
On October 15, 2017, Williams revealed in an Instagram photo that her father had been named the honorary captain of her senior homecoming game.
She is a Pilates instructor and fashion influencer
Williams is a Pilates instructor and owner of the online workout platform Pilates by Britt. She regularly posts clips of her workouts on her @pilatesby.britt Instagram account and revealed in a story that she’s been practicing Pilates since she was “about 15.”
She is also a budding fashion influencer, and often shares photos of her work with brands such as Revolve, Talentless and Alo.
